WHO and Video Game Industry Launch #PlayApartTogether Campaign to Promote Messages Against COVID-19

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the video game industry have collaborated on #PlayApartTogether, a promotional campaign that empowers healthy physical distancing by bringing unique events, special features, exercises, prizes, and inspiration to probably the most popular games in the world.

Game producers on #PlayApartTogether

A few different U.S. game organizations are supporting the WHO #PlayApartTogether declaration in different manners:

  • Zynga will make more content accessible free in its “Dawn of Titans” game (on Android and iOS) and will make a free BMW Z04 accessible within “CSR Racing 2,” if players complete 250 million races throughout the next two weeks.
