Where to Watch Mitchell Bowl and Uteck Bowl in 2023

The 2023 Uteck and Mitchell Bowls, as well as the Road to the Canada Life Vanier Cup, will only be televised in English on CBC Gem and CBCSports.ca; all of the action in French will be streamed on TVA Sports and the TVA+ digital platform.

Tickets for the 58th Canada Life Vanier Cup, which will take place at Richardson Stadium on Saturday, November 25, 2023, are now on sale. In addition, the location will hold a Women’s Football Tournament on November 24 and a Fan Festival on Friday night. On Saturday, there will be a Kids Football First Down “Try Football” Day at Football Canada First Down. Concessions, merchandise, and emergency information will be available to fans at the stadium. The weather should be considered when dressing for the games since they will take place rain or shine.

The Montréal Carabins, who won the Dunsmore Cup last week, will play the Western Mustangs, the OUA champions, in the Uteck Bowl, which will begin coverage at noon Eastern. The final game of the doubleheader is the Mitchell Bowl in Vancouver, British Columbia, where the STFX X-Men, who are playing in their sixth bowl game since 2015, will take on the host UBC Thunderbirds, who won the Hardy Cup on a last-second touchdown last week.

CBC Gem broadcast crews

Together with former Concordia Stingers defensive end and current McMaster football analyst Andrew Bartlett, veteran McGill play-by-play announcer Moe Khan will call the Uteck Bowl on CBC Gem.

Former Carleton Ravens quarterback Mark Lee, a legendary CBC play-by-play announcer, and PRSVRE football analyst Dashawn Stephens will be on the call of the 2023 Mitchell Bowl. On November 26, Lee and Stephens will also call plays during the Canada Life Vanier Cup.

TVA Sports

While Justine St-Martin hosts the network’s coverage of the Montreal-Western game, TVA Sports’ primary broadcast team will cover the Uteck Bowl under the direction of legendary play-by-play announcer Denis Casavant and former McGill star receiver turned analyst Charles-Antoine Sinotte. Next weekend, in Kingston, Ontario, this crew will cover the Canada Life Vanier Cup in its entirety.

For all Mitchell Bowl action in the other semifinal, veteran broadcaster Yves Paquet is joined by five-time Vanier Cup winner and current athletic director of Collège Montmorency, Duane John.
