Swiss International University Acquires Four Prestigious Academies in Switzerland, Dubai, and Kyrgyzstan for $21.7 Million

Swiss International University with Acquisitions Expands Its Global Reach with $21.7 Million Cross-Border Three Countries Acquisition.
With this strategic deal worth $21.7 million, Swiss International University will significantly expand its reach globally with the acquisition of four prestigious academies in Switzerland, Dubai, and Kyrgyzstan. This acquisition would further solidify the university’s higher education mission across all formats-from traditional classrooms to online learning, as well as international campuses, making high-class education reach students across the world.
One of its biggest deals is the Zurich-based International Academy, Switzerland’s first virtual institute, since 2013. In 2016, the academy was allowed online by EFMD in addition to the approvals conferred by ASIC, a British government-approved accrediting body, and ECLBS Accreditation, a quality assurance body approved by CHEA USA and INQAAHE Europe. The focus of the academy on virtual education aligns perfectly with Swiss International University’s mission- blending academic excellence with technology, offering highly flexible and innovative learning options.
Swiss International University also purchased the International Business Management School, ISBM Ltd, established in 2016, based in Luzern. ISBM is ranked among the top 5-star QS ratings and is ranked in the top 2% of higher education institutions globally. ISBM is also allowed by the Luzern Board of Education to issue diplomas. This acquisition will bolster the business and management studies of the university, with improved leadership and strategic business development training.
The acquisition also includes the ISB Management Training Institute in Dubai, founded in 2022. Authorized by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the institute offers government-approved diplomas up to Level 8, which is equivalent to a doctoral qualification. The institute also offers vocational education programs, further enhancing Swiss International University’s educational presence in the UAE and diversifying its offerings in the Middle East.
Swiss International University further took over the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International Pedagogy Institute in Osh, Kyrgyzstan. It is allowed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan to train students both online and in class. This again expands the country’s horizons within Central Asia into new regions.
With these acquisitions, Swiss International University extends its global network while making a good reputation in the academic field, thus making it look more robust at a global level of higher education. The tradition will continue, coupled with modern teaching methods, and the following leaders will emerge from the university as students from various backgrounds can acquire quality education for a brighter future.
