Private interview with Ksaveras Jancauskas, how Instagram is changing in the next year

What’s your story?

Ksaveras Jancauskas: I immigrated to the U.S. in 2014. I come from Lithuania, which is a poor country. I wanted to become a professional tennis player, hence, I started playing for Oglethorpe University. As I had to pay for my university by myself I started my first business, selling on Amazon.

As soon as my school found out that I was doing business I had to choose business or school because of my Visa restrictions. I ended up dropping out of my school and continuing my entrepreneurial journey. Soon after getting my Amazon store shut down I started my Instagram agency. Social media has made it possible to build an audience from scratch and make an impact on the world. I didn’t start my business to make a lot of money — I just wanted to provide a good life for my family. My proudest moment was when I was able to use the profits to buy something for my parents for the first time.

Share an interesting fact about yourself that not many people would know.

Ksaveras Jancauskas: I went from having a six-figure business to less than $20 in the bank to building my Instagram marketing agency IG CEO, which is producing more than $50,000 a month in revenue.

What excites you the most about your business right now?

Ksaveras Jancauskas: The most exciting part about my business is getting to know amazing people who have achieved a lot through their lives. Not only get to know them but be able to help to grow even further.  I’ve grown really quickly and been able to impact a lot of people and businesses.

What’s your secret to success?

Ksaveras Jancauskas: I would say the biggest secret to my success is a mindset and being a good person. I always try to improve my mindset by reading a lot of books about self-improvement. Books and coaching are a roadmap to success. However, if you are greedy and an unethical person then even with a roadmap you won’t get to success.

How do you hire top talent?

Ksaveras Jancauskas: Hire from your own community. Look for those who have the same mission, vision, and drive. Before you enter a long-term business relationship, find out what they’re like on a day-to-day basis with their friends. We need to make sure there is a mutual benefit.

What’s your favorite quote?

Ksaveras Jancauskas: My favorite quote is “A Good Deed Goes A Long Way”

My core values are hope, strength to keep pushing, and courage to conquer fear. I always get back up when I fall and keep pushing forward.
