Paul Gerard Parker is a Vital Part of an Ecommerce Superteam
Paul Gerard Parker (@paulparker) may be just 22-years-old, but he has become a force to be reckoned with in the world of online business. He is the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Project Wifi, an eCommerce management company that employs over 50 staff and manages over $19 million in assets.
Parker founded the eCommerce management company with fellow entrepreneurs Mohammed Shakaoat, Marcello Cantu, and Andy Ta Kong after he and Ta Kong realized incredible success selling popular products online.
Parker and Ta Kong started selling products on Shopify but quickly realized it was more lucrative to sell using Amazon.
“With Shopify, you had to source products, build a website/brand, and generate traffic through paid advertising. On Amazon.com, we didn’t have to do any of that. The audience, traffic, and brand trust were already there,” said Parker. “All we had to do was tap into the data and sell products that were popular. Once we realized that, we went full force and started selling over $150K per month.”
After achieving great success with their Amazon business, Parker and Ta Kong were connected to Shakaoat and Cantu and founded Project Wifi, which helps Amazon business owners streamline their productivity in return for a share of their business.
The business has realized incredible success, helping manage over 55 Amazon stores, each earning between $35,000 – $115,000 per month.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Parker oversees the development, execution, and communication of their marketing and branding.
His marketing skills were hard-earned through his years of experience with social media marketing with a company he founded called Hue Limited LLC.
“Marketing has always been the core of my skills. I was always great at connecting and talking to people as well. I think that is why I was able to accelerate so quickly in whatever I did,” said Parker.
Although the team has achieved incredible success in a short time, Parker doesn’t allow himself to become complacent, constantly looking for new ways to improve the company. He works tirelessly to improve the brand’s marketing and improve user experience, as he believes providing clients with an outstanding experience will result in repeat business.
Parker is thrilled to be part of a like-minded motivated team and credits the business’s seven-figure scale to teamwork.
“Teamwork is everything. You can feed off each other’s motivation. Finding people that understand one thing but have experience in another is key, therefore everyone has something unique to bring to the table,” said Parker.
He stresses the importance of keeping an open mind and being willing to learn.
“A one-man show rarely survives in the long run. Finding a mentor that can teach the ins and outs of running a business is a huge help as well,” said the prosperous entrepreneur.
