India-based NPCI International Payments (NIPL) has signed an MoU with PayXpert to internationalize the acceptance of its payment solutions in the UK.
This collaborative effort will make the Indian payment solutions accessible in the UK on the entirety of PayXpert’s android Point-of-Sale (POS) gadgets for in-store payments, beginning with UPI-based QR code payments and later integrating the opportunities for RuPay card payments. Both UPI and RuPay are installment systems under the umbrella of NPCI.
The agreement between the two will furnish Indian travelers with a familiar and convenient way of making payments in the UK. The UPI and RuPay payments choices are set to help the two buyers and retailers across the UK while giving a welcome boost to commerce across the retail, hospitality, and tourism sectors.
