National Productivity Council (NPC)

The National Productivity Council (NPC) created National Productivity Day. It is a national production-promoting organization in India. Founded in 1958, the National Productivity Council is a division of the Indian government. It is an autonomous, multipartite, non-profit organization that is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.

In addition, NPC is a member of the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), an intergovernmental organization with its headquarters in Tokyo and which the Indian government founded. To help increase productivity, competitiveness, revenues, safety, and quality, the National Productivity Council provides a solution.
