Strength lies in differences, not in similarities. – Stephen Covey
The beauty of the Outsyders is that each member comes from completely different backgrounds. Three different artists and three ethnicities make up the Outsyders. How did these three come together?
It was simple really. they all met while playing a pickup game of basketball at the best networking spot in Los Angeles, LA Fitness. Prince & Tommy have been friends for over a decade while Nick and Tommy have been friends for about three years. Nick had to convince Tommy to move out LA to so he could help Nick with his business and also focus on his music career in LA. Tommy was recording one day and heard Nick rap. He was surprised at the talent he just witnessed and invited him to the studio. After more time spent together and Nick realizing his true talents, The Outsyders was formed. They are three artists, three ethnicities and one unique sound that’s a blend of R&B, Hip Hop and eccentric Rock vibes.
Their first single “Long Time Coming” has over 170,000 streams in Spotify and they’re set to release their next single “Runnin & Gunnin” May 22nd. Although, they don’t have an album planned yet, they’ll releasing single after single for the time being. Be sure to keep an eye out for these guys and find the latest news on the Instagram (@outsyders) and don’t miss this unique sound on Spotify, Apple Music and more!
They also plan on making a music video for their upcoming multi-lingual single “Baila Para Mi” in Miami now that Quarantine measures are beginning to be lifted. Miami is the perfect location for this shoot because the song will be incorporating Venezuelan Columbian and Mexican models. The song is also based on a true story so they rap about how they met a girl at the Fountain Blue in Miami.
Living in Hollywood led them to great networking opportunities where they connected with their Social Media Manager Chris Cunningham who is also VP of Business Development for Elevator Studio, the social media agency that is the most long-standing influencer marketing company.
