List of guests who will attend the funeral of Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II
Only 30 guests are allowed to go to the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II’s husband, Prince Philip, because of the UK’s severe COVID-19 limitations. There is a long list of British royals on the list of people to attend, as well as some of the prince’s German relatives.
The guest list for Prince Philip’s funeral
- Queen Elizabeth II will attend her husband’s funeral at St George’s Chapel on Saturday. She should sit alone wearing a mask at the ceremony because of strict Covid rules.

- The second Earl of Snowdon, David Armstrong-Jones, will join in. He is the eldest son of the Queen’s only sister, Princess Margaret.
- The Queen’s niece, Lady Sarah Chatto, and her husband Daniel Chatto will be there to support their auntie.
- Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, made the select list of visitors to join in. He is Queen Elizabeth’s cousin and the son of Prince Henry and Princess Alice.
- Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, has been invited. The prince is Queen Elizabeth II’s first cousin through their dads, Prince George, Duke of Kent, and King George VI.
- One more of the Queen’s cousins, Princess Alexandra, the Honorable Lady Ogilvy, will go along with them.
- The Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, Phillipp. Prince Charles is among only three of Prince Philip’s German relatives selected to attend the funeral. He is one of the prince’s great-nephews.
- Donatus, the Landgrave of Hesse, will likewise be there. He is the great-nephew of Prince Philip by marriage.
- Bernhard, the hereditary Prince of Baden, his wife Stephanie. Heir to the head of the House of Baden, he is the third German relative on the list of attendees for Prince Philip’s funeral.
