GoDaddy’s New Website Builder API Integration is Intended to Help Small Businesses

GoDaddy intends to strengthen its position as one of the best website builders by implementing a new strategy to expand its user base. The company has launched a reseller program in the form of a Website Builder API integration for third-party platforms, beginning with business services provider Tailor Brands. This new API, which will be officially launched in the coming months, allows GoDaddy’s Website Builder to link directly to partner platforms, making it more accessible to individuals starting a new business.

This API integration broadens GoDaddy’s partnership opportunities by easing the process of creating a website on third-party platforms. Tailor Brands customers, for example, may access GoDaddy’s website creation tools without leaving the platform for LLC formation and brand-building services.

The GoDaddy Website Builder API provides several AI-powered capabilities, including the GoDaddy Airo Website Builder. The AI integration allows users to create site content based on data shared with the AI, as well as product descriptions derived from uploaded images. It also contains an AI-powered marketing assistant that assists consumers in deciding what content to add.

“Many users of our Website Builder have shared how it has helped them save time and money while growing their businesses. With this new API integration, we’re making these tools accessible to even more people and inviting potential partners to see all that GoDaddy has to offer,” said Oliver Hoare, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at GoDaddy. “Companies who want the ability to sell websites but don’t have the funds or means to build can now partner with GoDaddy.”

AI in website building

The Website Builder API also provides access to analytics and related data tools, allowing users to monitor the site’s performance. Artificial intelligence also plays a role here, with social media platforms that can create content and schedule its publishing based on marketing year dates.

Other business tasks can also be automated using the API. Users might use it to schedule online appointments, run e-commerce transactions, and even make online payments. This scalability is aimed to help small businesses in different stages of development.

This new reseller program hints at GoDaddy’s desire to establish an industry standard for small business owners seeking AI-powered website builders. API integration may lead to increased adoption of GoDaddy’s Website Builder in general, allowing the business to set a benchmark that will put it ahead of some of its competitors for a while.
