British Council IELTS Computer-Delivered Centre is now in Bangalore

The computer-based test (CBT) center for IELTS is launched on 17 December 2019 by the British Council in a small function at the Taj West End hotel.
This permanent testing center, which is a long-pending request by the Bangalurians, is located at the Taj Westend hotel in Race Course Road, Bangalore, where currently 21 people can sit for the test at a time.
With the introduction of this facility, there are more test dates accessible, test takers can pick IELTS at a time suitable for them, and they will get their results in 1 week.
CBT is similar to a paper-based test including question patterns, content, timings, etc. Candidates will take the listening, reading and writing modules using a desktop computer, but the speaking test remains the same one-to-one with a real examiner.
For more details on test preparation and test booking, candidates can contact The IELTS Academy, Bangalore, or visit their website http://www.ieltsacademy.org.
