The 18th installment of the International League of Football Championship will be the AFC Asian Cup 2024. Asia Football Confederation will serve as the tournament’s host organization in the Asia-Pacific region. The event will take place between 24 national times, with Qatar representing the defending champions. There will be 24 teams competing in the 51 matches that make up the tournament in Qatar. AFC Asian Cup Host 2023

Qatar will serve as the host nation for the AFC Asian Cup this year. The competition has previously been held in Qatar twice, in 1988 and 2011. With Australia and Indonesia withdrawing from the bidding process, Qatar has been awarded the opportunity to host the AFC Asian Cup this year. On October 17, 2022, Qatar was granted the privilege of serving as host. The AFC Asian Cup matches will take place in eight stadiums spread over four cities in Qatar.

AFC Asian Cup 2023: Full schedule

On January 12, 2024, the tournament’s group stage matches get underway, with Qatar playing Lebanon in the first match. The other three teams in each group will play each of the 24 teams once. The six groups’ top two teams as well as the top four third-place teams will advance to the knockout stages, or pre-quarterfinals, which begin on January 28. The quarterfinals will take place on February 2 and 3 following the conclusion of the round of 16 matches on January 31. February 6 and 7 are the dates for the semi-finals, and February 10 is the date for the final.
